The LP “Joker (OST),” released on WaterTower Music, presents Hildur Guðnadóttir’s film score as a compact collection of original compositions and is available in different vinyl variants, including a purple vinyl edition.
The sound is characterized by a consistent focus on the cello, which, as the central instrument, carries the melodic lines, complemented by dense string arrangements and textural soundscapes. Hildur Guðnadóttir is credited as composer as well as performing cellist and vocalist; the album was co-produced by Hildur Guðnadóttir and S.
